Hmm, it should work with Thunderbird. Is Thunderbird set as your default email client?

There are a few advantages with this:
- Messages are sent in Outlook Express. You can use your address book as you would normally. People less experienced with computers may prefer this.
- You receive any "Delivery Status Notification" errors generated by the sent email
(there are *many* times a user simply misspells an email address in the original Vocaroo and will have no way of knowing their message was not received)
- There is no guarantee that Vocaroo will always be available (the server might go down, or even old messages may get deleted when there are too many). With Vocaroo Express, the message is sent as an attachment so will never get lost.

But yes, it is not a *huge* amount better than the Vocaroo website. But hopefully people who prefer to use Outlook for sending their emails will find Vocaroo Express more convenient.

As for money, you do realise that Vocaroo in its original form cannot remain free forever? Ad-supported models only work for huge companies such as Google. I have to find other ways of making it earn money. This is just one of them.

Well, I am not sure that $20 would be worth it for me. The original Vocaroo is good enough. Why not just email someone the link to the file you created online? That is still free, right?
